An “Auction of Promises” works the same way as any other auction i.e. highest bid wins, but here the “lots” are a mixture of goods and services donated by people in, and friends of, our community. All funds raised go towards the upkeep of the Village Hall
As you will see, many of the items offer the opportunity of a unique experience to be enjoyed by the highest bidder or the lucky someone of their choosing – a very special Christmas Gift!

The day will involve Timing or Safety duties on Special Stage or Targa Rallies where high-performance cars follow a high-speed or complicated route on sealed-surface private tracks or race circuits. At Great Bradley Hall given by Charles and Alice Ryder for up to 6 people of some of the most exciting young growers from these leading areas: Burgundy, Bordeaux, Beaujolais, Rhone, Provence, Piedmont, Tuscany, Mosel and Austria. The tasting will end with some Champagne. To be held at around midday in late Spring/Summer 2018 by mutual agreement. |
