Bonfire Night 2006
Thanks to EVERYONE who made the 2006 Bonfire and Firework Display such a success.
Over £1,000 was made from the event for the development of the Recreation Field and it's facilities - a fantastic achievement!
Thank you to the Recreation Committee for making this happen, to Paul Dickens for his firework expertise, to the BBQ-ers, bar tenders, fire marshals, ticket sellers, first-aiders, sparkler sellers, glow bandits (!) and most of all ................................to the villagers, friends and family who came along to make it such a fun evening for everyone.
The fireworks display was a great balance of noise and colour to make a great family event without scaring the little ones
Coupled with the bar, Bar-B-Queue, ice cream van and sale of glow-sticks, it was a great event
The fact that the moon was out provided a great backdrop to the display and is captured in these pictures from Paul Brown
