2021 Remebrance Day Reflection
The Parish Council and village Archive Group held a Service of Reflection led by Peter Smith on Sunday 14th November in front of the Village Hall memorial seat and plaque, followed by a mini Archive Exhibition and free refreshments. Prompt 10.45 a.m. start.
About 25 Great Bradley residents attended the service, and it was the first time we have been able to hold a service in front of the memorial seat and plaque since Covid reared it's head. Well done to The Archive Group, John & Maureen Barnett and Peter Smith for putting together the mini exhibition and to Annette Sugg, Helen Bennett and Anne Smith for the refreshments. It was also great to have Mike with us to help show people how to access all the Archive material online.
Special thanks to Peter Smith who led the service and found the perfect words to express our thoughts and to Wing Commander Jo Rimmer for reading the Exhortation.
